Heart disease remains the number one
killer of women.
It may surprise you to know that 1 out of
every 3 women will develop heart disease
in their lifetime, and this number is
getting closer to 1 in 2! This means women
have a 50-50 chance of developing heart
disease in their lifetime. Not really great
odds, right?
The good news is there is a lot you can do
to reduce yourrisk of developing heart
disease. The earlier you start thinking about
your heart, the better. But regardless of
your age, you can repair or prevent further
damage to your heart.
My co-author, Sherry Torkos, and I have
written a book called "Saving Women's
Hearts". This book is for all women
and was written to help women prevent and
reverse heart disease. We focus on both
natural and conventional strategies,
examining evidence-based research
supporting the prevention of heart disease
in women.
If you don't have heart disease, let's keep it
that way. If you have had a heart attack or a
stroke, let's figure out ways to reduce your
risk of having another heart attack or
stroke.
This book is for women. But for the men out
there, please know it is for you as well. If we
can make the women in your life healthier-
the women you love, the world will be a
better place.
This book is being published by Wiley, and
is ready for delivery! Please look for the
